My 1968 Dodge Charger 318 originally came with manual brakes. I would like to convert it to power brakes. Has anyone done this before? Do any vendors sell the conversion kit (master cylinder, booster, portioning valve) or do I need to purchase all of the parts separately? Thanks!
An old picture I found from way back of the aluminum front grill cross bridge support. The original one was hole sawed very neatly, but the aluminum was much more neat and lighter. Note the two factory like holes for the hood release levers and locking mechanisms. 4 aluminum Hood pins rendered...
Yes the builder messed up and put the pistons in the wrong spot. I've seen this before. But never all 8. As for the rod side clearance? My bet is it has a turned down 440 crank to a 2.200" chevy journal. Mopar rods are .025" wider than a Chevy rod. So the side clearance will gain .050" per pair...
