400 Stroker Rebuild Sounds Like a Bucket of Bolts

Yes the builder messed up and put the pistons in the wrong spot. I've seen this before. But never all 8. As for the rod side clearance? My bet is it has a turned down 440 crank to a 2.200" chevy journal. Mopar rods are .025" wider than a Chevy rod. So the side clearance will gain .050" per pair...

    Passenger Mirror Won't Aim

More for looks than function. If you place it far enough back to see it well, you can't adjust it to get a good view. Too far forward and you are looking through the vent frame besides, it looks bad that far forward.

I don't have a helpful answer, but I just walked out and checked the lock to lock on my 67 GTX roller. It has about 3 1/2 turns (power steering box, if it matters).

Changing my first fuel filter as a rookie. Would like any tips you might have

Abrasion resistance, less likely to deteriorate from heat or petroleum additives, ethanol. In an accident more likely to stay in 1 piece. You can continue to find reasons why a hard line is better.

'69 Super Bee rear quarter window seal question

So.. I am intending to use my Bee as a DD. If inclement weather comes while I'm out, so bee it (get it?? HA.. lame Mopar humor... sorry). When driving in the rain, the water would be driven rearward by the wind down the V channel and goes into the car, then drains to????? In between the...

    Passenger Mirror Won't Aim

Just a simple suggestion. Go to someplace that can do shoe modifications build the soles up on both. Move your seat back far enough and your mirror will work better for you. Or add blocks to the pedals. One of the biggest lies out there is ( I am from the Government and here to help). I never...

Drivers side remote mirror, different mounts on B Body?

1967 wagons all has pass side mirrors from the factory. they are in the exact same position as the driver's side. IMO, the main issue regarding "lack of useful visibility" is the "standard" glass that is not curved, like today's "objects in mirror are closer than they appear", wide vision...
