The first thing I always checked on a 'nothing' happening deal is the neutral safety/starter relay. Had two 66 Belvedere's that did the same thing on occasion. Usually just crossing the terminals did the trick. Just make sure the car in park or neutral and the park brake is set before doing that.
You know as well as I do, they may be done, but they're never really done. The gift that keeps on giving in many ways! LOL.... A lot of work, but I don't regret a thing, and neither do you. LOL.
Dynomax is good. I have those on one car. Hooker Aerochambers on one car, Flowmaster on three cars and basic quieter Walker turbo mufflers on the rest of my cars. They all sound good on each car.
