I rebuilt a 727 for the first time a couple years ago using Tom Hand's book and a 1968 factory service manual. Lot's of guys on here have a lot of experience and good advice (way more than me). You can do it!

He had better forget any type of performance. Big block Mopar and quiet isn't happening. You can hide the sound by running it out back. But someone will still be hearing it with any kind of peddle.

Noticed some oil on the ground and found my Dipstick holder not connected to oil pan. How do I fix this?

Does it slide into block? Or is it broke off at the block? The tube is more like a press fit into the block and there is a ridge that keeps it from going to far into the block. . If the tube isn't broken you can expand it a little with maybe a small screwdriver, for a tighter fit.

Tips on lifting in rear diff

On the ground, I position the 3rd member close to the rear end, then I lay on my back right under the car, feet towards the trans, head under the housing. Then I roll the 3rd member onto my chest and lift it up to the housing in one motion. Goes right in!

My neighbor, 35, comes over to get me. He's pretty excited but won't say why. He moved in about 4 months before us. His families from Trinidad, but they lived in New York. Sundays......

With two L4-L5 herniated disc surgeries well behind me - last one in 2005 - I'm familiar with back pain. Don't stay too idle, sometimes that can make it worse. Do some light duty stuff tomorrow - maybe sorting through and organizing parts? Hope your back improves! Strong aspirin is good stuff...

Not sure where one per side Imperial mufflers would fit a B body without floor pan modifications. Those mufflers were huge.

    70 Rocker Moulding Clips Ford?

good old Ingenuity. Sometimes with these old cars that is needed to fix your problems. I had a 70 Sport Satellite before the Bee. It took me 6 months to find a good used set of those clips in 2015. Good job!
