Suggestions wanted for QUIET good flowing mufflers (sleeper build)?

Jimmy's Bullet allegedly had four Cadillac mufflers. Imperial mufflers I suspect would do the same job.

How old were you when you bought your first house?

On a positive note if you chose to move the car scene at least in the Denver area is pretty good, and there is an abundance of great roads with incredible scenery waiting to be explored...

    So who's into tractors

Very cool. Never seen a cat repowered IH. In the early 80's Dad had a John Deere 5020 that had a m&w conversion kit with 3160 Cat V8. I spent a lot of time on it. Dad sold it when farming got tough in the mid 80s. I have wondered if its out there somewhere? It would be quite a collector piece...

How old were you when you bought your first house?

2002 - I was 39 and the Mrs was 36. We refinanced it twice. The first time was only a year after we bought it, dropping the rate considerably. The second time we shaved 7 years off the note and dropped the payment a little more. We're set to have it paid off in less than 2 years and can ride...

    B Bodies & 340’s

In 1973 the 340 had reduced compression (don't remember the ratio but you can look it up), and a shot peened cast crank with external balancing. The heads also had smaller valves. IIRC, the horsepower was rated at 240. I was 16 when I started driving it, and over time I added headers and a...

    1966 Charger Carpet Details

Just an FYI: If anyone is doing a 67, the preformed carpet for the rear console is not very easy to install and not nice when done. I came up with a way to cover using a roll of carpet and think it turned out a lot better. Formed carpet: and...

    Diagnosis MOPAR Charging System

72RoadrunnerGTX..... There are just too many self appointed "experts", such as Dead Dodge Garage, trying to explain how the Mopar charging system works and the several orders of magnitude the number of people that believe in what's being proclaimed as gospel. The best thing for these people to...

What is the smallest car you have owned?

They are pretty small... At one point I had four guys squeezed into mine, Having left the bar we were buzzing along at 50 mph traveling down Marine Corps Drive, it was raining & the roads on Guam are crushed coral so while they have great traction when dry it's like driving on oil when wet...

We honestly have not looked up close and personal inside the fuel tank, and we have not checked the fuel pump pressure. I personally bought my stepdad a Mr. Gasket fuel pressure gauge a few years ago BUT he never hooked it up.
