Are Mopar 383 rod bolts still available from Mopar?

I didn't know there were ANY parts available from Mopar for these old engines anymore.

What's it Worth Round, Chrome, Driver's Side Remote Mirror

The mirror base, 337649, is common to both manual and remote LH mirrors as per manual mirror threads I saw on FABO & FCBO. Rummaging around ebay I found the actual assembly part number, as well as some incomplete info model fitment. Found the following after rummaging around other websites...

Suggestions wanted for QUIET good flowing mufflers (sleeper build)?

It has been done the other way, and I suspect the Imperials were the way you mention mainly because that was the easiest solution for OEM space wise as others have noted. My goal would be the best configuration, and what that is has yet to be proven. Adding a third would likely get you close...

Suggestions wanted for QUIET good flowing mufflers (sleeper build)?

Some Imperials have small mufflers/resonators ahead of the regular muffler and Imperials have 440's and are very quiet. I took note of that and put 12" glass packs in front of the turbo mufflers in my '70 Roadrunner. I like the way it sounds now, but if I ever want it more quiet, I can still put...

No on the "hate" aspect, because the louvres serve a function, the wing is only external ballast. My opinion was the same in the 70's.

Do I really have to remove the pan?

One thing that gets over looked is the tube fit. On the tube if factory will be a brace that fits/ bolts to the bell housing and is held by a bell housing to block bolt. If your bracket does not just lay in place at that bolt hole once the tube is pushed into the pan if you have draw it flush...

Which one of you guys ponied up the big bucks to buy this?

I like the look of the car except how thick the rear of it appears. The Challenger is a thick and tall car compared to the 68-70 Chargers. The Chargers taper off at the trunk whereas the Challengers are more bulky. There have been a few of these made. I have seen at least several posted in a...

    Charging issues

I recently purchased a 71 Charger. The previous owner put a new harness from American auto wire in it. I found out that the alternator wasn’t charging the battery so replaced it with a 3 wire alternator with no fix. Checked the voltage regulator and it checked bad so replaced that but still...

    low comp 383

How about aluminum 75cc chamber heads instead of your current 88-90 cc chambers? How much more compression do you need? How much cam duration do you have? Have you done a compression test to see what your numbers are now? A duel-plane intake should also increase your low to midrange torque as...

Suggestions wanted for QUIET good flowing mufflers (sleeper build)?

The longest case that will fit. Dynomax Super Turbo if you can add a resonator for the drone. Long ultraflows will be tame until you get on it. The Pypes Race pro if they built it in a longer case.Same with the Borla Pro xs. I have 18" magnaflow to go on my Duster but not installed yet. On my...

1966 Coronet Glovebox Liner: 2-part, Repops MO101, Review & Install

That's great, you got it in and that was the intention. Once you figure out how the two pieces go together on the bench and what is the top and the bottom, take it apart and install the top, but have the lower part loose inside the dash. Once the top is secured, then assemble the bottom to it...
