Tie rod sleeve turns when tight.

I found that after tightening the tie rod sleeves they still turn easily. The previous owner replaced them and they look correct, but like I said, they still turn by hand easily. I’m thinking they used the wrong ones?

    1966 Charger Carpet Details

It does make me a little hesitant to use a company where the product isn't perfect. I wonder if they took your advice. You ever see the guy on Youtube who puts together an interior for a 66 Charger? He had 2 problems with the seat covers. The first one they fixed, but the second one he brought...

    1966 Charger Carpet Details

There is one thing I noticed about 66-67 Chargers. When I was looking for carpet, I noticed they offer other options other than 80/20 loop. Was there an option for different carpet when buying them new, or is this something the aftermarket is now offering?

    No continuity on override switch.

The instructions that came with the relays and the limit switches did mention it interrupts the ground for the doors to close. I will check for 12 volts tomorrow.

    No continuity on override switch.

So I should have 12 volts at each lead to that switch?

    No continuity on override switch.

I ran a jumper wire and they still didn’t close. I’m not getting any continuity open or closed.

    No continuity on override switch.

I was able to get the headlight doors to open today, but they won't close. I changed all the relays and limit switches. I pulled the override switch and cannot get continuity no matter what I try. Can I just add a jumper to this switch and see if the doors will close? And do I really need to...

Do I really have to remove the pan?

Oh yeah, I'm checking it in neutral after I let the engine run for a bit. Being that the car is on jackstands, I've been putting it run in gear for a few minutes.

Do I really have to remove the pan?

There really was no fluid when I brought the car home. I had to add 8 quarts of fluid. So, it's full of fresh fluid.

Do I really have to remove the pan?

funny you should say that, as I was writing my post, I was thinking if that would help. I was thinking of just lowering the jackstands as far as I can.

Do I really have to remove the pan?

Ok, I figured that was the best thing to do.

Do I really have to remove the pan?

Looks like I have a nice puddle under my Charger that I haven't had the pleasure of driving yet. It looks like it the dipstick tube seal. Do I really have to drop the pan, or can I just catch whatever fluid drops? The car is up on jackstands, so working on it isn't so bad, I just don't want to...

    Relay for ignition.

I kinda figured that too, I didn’t think it would start with ballast receptor in.
