    On my hemi I wanted to do things different than factory. So I bought the universal condenser and hose kit. I then bought the tools, Cutter and Crimper. Every install has its differences.

    yeah, on mine i would set the dialback to zero and it would hold steady timing... but if i went off zero, i would rev the engine, the timing would advance, then go way back.. then advance again. Glad you found it : )

    I've seen some 71 B-bodies with that trim ring option too. I like it on those too. I did that with a my high school '67 Chevy II. I really did just have dog dishes when I got it from a little old lady in Santa Monica. Only options: auto, P/S, radio, tinted front window that's it.

    Went for my weekly bloodwork this morning for my transplant team and saw this gorgeous 2nd gen Ram 1500 while I was there, could not talk to him for too long as he was walking out and I was walking in but he said that he bought it brand new and it only has 44,000 miles on it!

    ...solution. I went and added a collar to the bottom of the distributor gear. Put everything back together and fired it up. Set timing back to 18* , gave it some throttle exact same thing ! Disconnected my Innova timing light and hooked up old school timing light. And rechecked...
