Hey Bob, I didn't see the word "ethics" used but I did see "etiquette" used after you made mention of
"specifically some Spanish person that knows nothing but pretends he does as his own work".
Now, you have said your piece, so scroll on and leave this thread alone. Entender?
Yes I have 6 ton stands. Right now they are under the axle not extended. I can probably first try lifting the front and putting my ramps under there tires to see if I can roll the carrier in up towards the front. I don’t always feel good working under stands extended too far.
I just read through this.
Looking at the pictures you have a 5 pin ECU with a 4 pin wiring plug and a single ballast resistor.
So no power on pin 3.
Perhaps it had a 4 pin previously which failed and an attempt was made to replace with this 5 pin.
(Just guessing but I don't see how it ran in...
It is possible that the main switching transistor is / has failed. This transistor is external and is a power Darling design capable of switching coil's primary current. If the transistor has failed, either failed open or shorted the resu,t is an intermittent spark or no spark...
...size dish cup) then rolled it under and could adjust the height with only the bottom half of jack handle. It was still a struggle but doable and much safer than trying to bech press it up and in:
3. *Tip I used a 1" x 2" strip of wood to hold the driveshat up out of the way above the mufflers:
Sounds like you've got a L something out. The vertebrae is not where it's supposed to be. That stretches the muscles and makes the pain. I would be going to the back cracker.
I really do not care what dadsbee thinks, does or says about my postings. Who appointed him as the majority spokes person for my postings or disputes my reasonong for my comments. The same holds true your comments as well.
Since you obviously do not understand the how's and why's of...
Just be safe and use some heavy jack stands. I would recommend 6 ton or bigger. Yes, you can balance the carrier on the pad of a floor jack as long as the jack is big enough.
Yep. New computerized vehicles need to be driven or charged regularly. Even though the draw is small, keeping computer memories alive and clocks working does drain the power. I would trickle charge it overnight at least once a month. More often if needed.
Agreed 100%
But zoom in on the trunk photos will tell you why it sold for what it did
Even with that , Unless it was a rot box underneath, That car was well bought , IMO
Drive it and enjoy the top down
Killer color combo btw
Btw, Column auto wouldn't have deterred me in any way. I...
It’s just the carrier Im putting in. I’ll have to get the car up higher so I can roll it under on a floor Jack. I’ll see if I can get it to fit under tonight. My exhaust also hangs kind of low so I can’t go through the side or under the rear end with it on a Jack currently.
The car has less than 5000 miles on it. It has been parked at my daughter's garage most of the time over the last year since I've owned it without being on a battery maintainer, which I assumed they would either use or drive it more.
so I was wrong...... it doesn't happen often
got through the first week, got a lot done...... but never fully recovered
the past few days I can barely move....... this **** is temporary, right?
This is exactly why my car has a 7 blade direct drive fan on it.
I dont have to worry about slipping clutch or having one come apart and eat a radiator
