    For sure have it still hot tanked and flushed out. But I would pick the debris and opened up rust clogged passageways first. Need to do both.

    If you do the math the side clearance isn't the restriction of oil exit flow at the rod bearing. It's the rod bearing to crank clearance. I've never talked to anybody that ran wide side clearance where it caused an issue. Doug
