Thanks for the feed back. What about the slotted 2.5 inch tips? TTI sells the pair for $541. Pypes has them for $406 for the pair. TTI tips mount a little differently
than the Pypes but I don't see any issue with either mount style. Is there a quality difference between the TTI and Pypes versions?
Neither Gardner nor ECS carry exhaust systems for ‘73 B bodies. I am running stock manifolds on a 440 and need to replace everything from the manifolds back. Accurate looks perfect but they are extremely expensive. TTi is much more reasonably priced. Looking for feedback from anyone that’s used TTi.
I did have to drop the steering column to get the bezel off. It wasn't fun. Probably should have removed everything instead of just the bezel. There was enough play in the cluster to get it out just far enough to get a short screw driver behind the top bezel screws. For the bottom screws, I got...
Posted this in the electrical section but wanted to get more exposure to some help diagnosing so here goes. I have taken the plastic Rally dash bezel out to repaint and redo the wood grain. It’s taking me at lot longer than expected because to many other distractions. Thus I hadn’t started and...
Had taken the plastic Rally dash bezel out to repaint and redo the wood grain. Taking me longer than expected thus I started the car up only to see the tach move up very slowly and then stopped. Prior to removing bezel the Tach had worked with no issues. The tach didn’t react to the throttle...
Thanks for the input, and yes I was thinking of adding them but didn't want to spend the extra bucks that Accurate wants if they aren't really needed. That's why I asked the question about the '71 Charger R/T. If the '71 R/T didn't have them, did Ma Mopar learn something or did folks complain...
My '73 Charger with 440 came with resonators from the factory. A some point, prior to my ownership, someone removed them and did without. I remember years ago my neighbor had an all stock '71 Charger R/T and I don't think it had resonators. Is my memory correct? Did '71 or '72 big block B bodies...
Looking for any feedback on replacing the factory bulbs in my '73 Charger Rallye dash with the LED (BA9s) version. Has anyone done this? If so what brand did you use? Are they dimmable? Are you satisfied with the brighter look?
Both doors sag downward. I bought new hinges but haven’t put them in yet. I was anticipating part of the issue might be with the latch. The latch surface that rides on the post is fairly worn. I got new post. Haven’t put those in yet either. I know it’s slim to no chance of finding any latches...
There are alot of a-holes out there. You don't have to join them. I thought this forum was for friendly sharing of information among those that have a common interest and passion in Mopar's. FYI I did check Google/MAC Tools website. They advertise one scissor lift and its rated at 6000 lbs. I...
Want to put a lift in my garage. I don't have the ceiling height or room for a two or four post lift. Need something more compact but durable, safe, and sturdy. Looking at mid-rise scissor type lifts. Will be using it on my '73 Charger. Any recommendations, best brands?
Anybody know if a conversion kit is available to swap out a 727 for a 518 trans in a '71-'74 B body with center console floor shift and a big block engine? By kit I mean everything you would need like, engine adapter for big block, linkage to enable you to keep the slap stik shifter, cross...
