Tried to search this subject, but didn't seem to find anything. My top motor runs when I hit the switch, but does not activate the top cylinders. Low on oil?? If so what is required to fix it. This is a car that has been restored, but has been sitting for a couple years.
Cool beans....My intake is off right now so its easier to see the drive gear. If I'm reading the above right, I don't need to worry so much how the gear goes back in as log as I need to basic time the distributor anyway!??!
I'm a welder by trade.Any one know what allen wrench size it is? I'll make one if I can. Also, this engine was aquired in a swap. How do I tell if the intermediate shaft and gear are correct to begin with??? Looks like it has a new cam, its covered in assembly lube.
I didn't get pulleys with the motor, and I have collected enough of them to stack to the ceiling!!!!Thanks for the warnings on the damper, I'll change it back. But then I'll be back in the same boat as far as fitting up pulleys.....How do you know the difference between B and RB motors. There...
