My 69. 451 stroker, 3000 stall, 3.91 sure grip.

“Only 30 crank degrees”? Thats a hell of a lot. It’s putting me at 44-45 total right now. About 10 degrees too much. That’s why I am going to try the plate. If the plate doesn’t put it where I want it, I’m going to have to go back to the “old” way of welding, filing, and measuring the slots.

So then would I have to open up my factory “15L” slots to allow for the 18 on the plate I’m assuming?

I have three factory Chrysler 5/16 sending units removed from 68-69 Chargers in good working order if you're in need of one. All tested and in working condition.

3.91s. I’d keep them in the car if they were 3:55s. That’s as low as I’d want to go. I don’t need 3.91s with my 451.
