They are only noisy when they are worn out. I used cast iron header paint on mine. They have to be really cleaned of rust. Mine still look good after 3 years. Let the paint cure or follow their instructions. Rebuild the heat riser.
Tank venting has been mentioned. You said that there was no sock on the fuel sender/pickup, but blew air through it, it could still have something in it. Something here isn't making any sense.
Block saver is the plate between the engine and the bellhousing, not the removable bottom. Whether it's certified or not, hell of alot better than the stock bellhousing.
The starter nose going into the recess in the bellhousing is the key to alignment. Plus, say a Denso Dakota starter , one hole is large, larger than 7/16". It should not be needed, but I made a bushing on my lathe to correct that large hole in 2 of my starters. Never had a problem or...
Never heard of that. Now, poor production clears will yellow or look tea colored over a short few years. Don't skimp on the clear coat. No Omni or Nason, at least for me.
S&M Electro makes a direct 2 speaker install replacement for the single front speaker. They are not very large, but seem to be fine for me. Have them in 2 cars.
