    ...Had the RC-12 first, but didn’t do well on the cracks in pavement around neighborhood. The Futaba controller and servos were carried over from the RC-12 to the RC-10. *Neither have solid state throttle. They have a swing arm on wound coil. RC-10 never really saw dirt… not much in our area...

    Good advise... Take a step back and one thing at a time. Plenty of knowledge available here, just pick a topic and post about your issue(s) with enough details. These car can be a challenge especially if systems were modified and botched in the process by the previous owner.
