I have a 1967 Coronet RT. 440 with a 727. I had the trans rebuilt with a hemi 2500 stall torque converter.
The 1st to second shift seems ok, however, when the trans shifts into 3rd under normal acceleration, there is a loud clunk.
If I am accelerating quickly, it seems to shift ok. Is my problem...
I am looking for a machine shop that specializes in big block Mopar engine rebuilding in the Syracuse or Rochester New York area.

I have a 1967 Coronet RT Clone. The car is a 440 with a 727 auto. I have an oil leak that is ending up on the exhaust.
I know that everything has to be cleaned that is now oil covered to possibly find the leak.
Has anyone on this forum used the dye and light method in the oil to find the leak?
