I have always liked the chuck eye because of the fat content. My butcher calls it the poor mans rib-eye or at least it used to be.

The trans is a Tremec TKO500, rear end is an 8 3/4 with .373s and a suregrip. Suspension is new but stock format. The Motor is a bored and stroked 6.1, it's 393ci now, and pushes around 550-600hp.
And, unfortunately, that link is for the dimmer switch - that one I have...
I put one of those "Performance Indicators" in my '67 R/T many years ago. It dressed up the console, and was waaay cheaper than a $500 tach that likely doesn't work. Black wire is for ground, and the other wire gets tied into the instrument cluster light circuit. There might be a separate spade...
I bought a total of 5 senders before I came across one that measured around 400 ohms in 85 degree ambient temperature. That sender works and is accurate when checking with my thermal temp gun. It’s all about crap aftermarket parts nowadays. All the other senders measured between 120 to 200 ohms...
