What makes Mopars better? (At least in the big block area.) Is the rocker shaft design vs ball stud. Wedge, then later hemi, has more room for expanded air flow than GM.) Hemi had 2 rocker shafts that are more production cost, but better design for 2 valve performance options.
Just my opinion.
It really is. My B-body is a blessing. I add new radiator and add shoud. Fuel gauge starts working. For first time since I owned. I have a whole new float and sending unit. But it started working. For no reason?
It's the car. I've never had a car like this. The more you rub and love. The more...
There is some impressive power washers that are designed for under carriage cleaning.

Just stick it in to frame hole(s) and stand clear? Lol.
I'm actually feeling up. (Yes countdown to retirement is 4 months.) But I'm still having decent success on car duties. Even looking to possibly add to the stable? I target cars that are drivable, but need TLC. Especially if non-number matching. So not to pay numbers matching prices.
So feeling...
I think the '68 Charger R/T. Just beating out the '69. Including the '69 A12 Superbee. (Which is damn close.) I believe '69 was the best year in US automotive history. All around. (I think Mustang and Camaro lovers would agree?)

Been over a week. And gauge is still working as should. I was expecting it fill and sink back to showing empty. But gauge is showing very accurate to what I believe is fuel level.
I've learned it's really tough to fix something that is working. Lol. So on to the next maintenance project. And...
I run just SS springs with a snuber on 30×10.5 Hoosier bias slicks in an A-body 3000lb car. Hooks just fine at about 650 rear HP 10 sec car. 4000 stall reverse valve 727. 4.56:1 spooled Mosier axeled 8 3/4.
An A-body Duster is a different setup and geometry of a B-body. Thus really not...
The only thing somewhat interesting in my neck of woods just popped up on Craigslist list. Asking $25k for a 4speed car is not unreasonable.

Perhaps. But so far gauge is working as should. I would think a cracked float would fill up then sink faster than it drained on empty tank. But could be wrong. It's possible the float got stuck, and a completely drained tank unstuck?
But I do know. Trying to fix something that is working is...
Ok. I went out driving alittle harder than normal. I was out on the interstate and ran into a Challenger 6.4 scat pact on the freeway. So of course we did a punch. I flapped it down to 3rd. Up to about 90. Then into 4th. He jumped out to about a car maybe 1 1/2 Length lead. Then I started to...
I say real. Someone could feasibly have done that. No real sin on getting alittle creative. Assuming the vehicle was in nice shape to have to havr done something?
Welcome. And I personally believe the late 60s generation B-bodies are the finest platform Mopar ever produced. Certainly out of the Plymouth division.
With that setup? You have so many options. From keeping stock, to a Gen III hemi upgrade. Because of the car already with manual transmission...
