    Metropolitan Auckland is built on over 50 extinct volcanoes. The last one to erupt was Rangitoto....approx 750 years ago. Fortunately nobody was around to see that....even though some claim to have ancestors living here then. No photos, no proof. :jackoff:

    Scary '71 Challenger today.

    The way the track works is there is the banked oval. Then pit row is 1/4 straight on the inside of the track. This makes a 1/8th mile drag strip with a 1/8th mile slow down or speed up area before entering the track, whichever is your choice. The are no speed limits anywhere on the tracks...

    There was also a little-known 385 h.p. 413, with 2X4 inline carbs available in early 1962. This motor was basically the Chrysler 300H engine. I have a 1962 Car Life test drive of a 1962 Dart with this engine. On Max Wedge cars, the forward horn harness ran down the top of the inner fender panel.
