Seems most Times a tune up question comes up someone always throws out the dreaded "slipped balancer." Has anyone seen this on a 60's or 70's mopar SB or BB? I have never had one on a car slip. I have seem some with the rubber in terrible shape on junk engine sitting out or at swap meet...
I was trying to figure out exactly what transpired here. Guys car sold, at least the auctioneer put the hammer down and appeared to say sold. Yet they took more bids afterwards?
If it was his car, then he got more or what, I’m missing some context here.
Mecum is in my area, and I’ve been to...
First off, I am not a manual transmission expert, so this is more of a question than a statement:
Synchronizers help you get a transmission into a gear - my understanding is they do nothing once it is in a gear. I've heard that if a manual transmission pops out of gear, it could be linkage...
Up for sale is my '67 Plymouth Belvedere II. Car has the 383 engine, 727 Torqueflite transmission, 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears and SureGrip. Car is very clean. Runs very well and is fun to drive. Mechanically sound and is a solid well cared for classic. Car is a true Silver Special car which...

We've heard this before here on the forum.
2. The regulator was not working and his original alternator was functional.
3. No...
You will need to know someone to look up a plate or VIN for you. Wa state will not do it for the public at the DMV office, privacy stuff.
Also if it has not been tabbed in 7 years they drop it from the system and they claim they have no record of it. This includes collector plates or year...
MIGHT BE BORING! Bought our first house October of 1971. 912 square feet. 14,500.00. Interest rate was 5% I think. My salary didn’t meet the requirements for government approved loan. We did get the loan through a bank as long as we agreed to rent out the basement suite.g
It had a...
As the title, I'm near the end of the restoration on my 1970 Charger and after fitting the front bumper I realise that I am missing the front bumper filler panel that closes up the gap between the front edge of the hood and the front bumper chrome.
I realise the steel panel isn't reproduced so...
Big block Mopar have superior engineering vs. brand X during the musclecar era, IMHO things that set Mopars apart:
Dry intake manifold
Shaft rockers
External oil pump
Deep block webbing that extends past the crank centerline
Flat pan rail
Webbing around lifter bores
Simple water pump...
As I refer to them as Canadian Winged Rats, they are just as bad as say...well not going to do so as it would knock this topic to the Political Forum. But y'all get my drift...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag::usflag::usflag:
