That big bump makes contact with the floor pan. You have to get your carpet as exactly located as you can. Front and back, side to side and overlapping the rear carpet. Once you're satisfied where it all lines up take a scratch awe and poke the two holes for the studs from the bottom of the car...
Scince we are talking convertible b bodies, and you guys may be more familiar with the unique items, what have you guys done to reolace the sticky foam sealing material that was under the windsheild frame stainless? What felt are you using on the top frame center 2 bows that arent tack strps...
If that man in question, who incidentally is despised by many, had not done what he did..... we could possibly have well over a hundred "Real" '71 HEMI Cuda Convertibles floating around....as an example.
Imagine pouring all your hard-earned cash into a car that turns out to be a fraud after you...
Well, if I ever get my 383 installed in the charger, I have the new Carb Cheater en-route to the house and will install it as well. Hey Tom if you're reading this thread tell Jamie Thanks for me.
For sure..... and if you did find one, you'd need nothing short of a Mopar Forecsic Scientist to verify it. I'd bet its easier to find hen's teeth than it would be to find a complete six pack engine, FOR SALE, that hasnt been messed with and devalued in one way or another. Same goes with Max...

Misfire, or weak cylinder, rough running, take your pick on term, is much worse now. Hardly any vacuum. Time to retire this beast and yank the engine. I think it'll be complete engine redo...
Does anyone know when during the manufacturing process the partial VIN were stamped onto the body parts?
1) detail part?
2) subassembly part?
3) major subassembly part?
4) complete shell just before installing the drivetrain?
a good tuned T-quad will wake that thing right up !
it took me years to figure those things out, but today, that is the carb of my choice !
too bad there isn't a low profile 2x4 intake made that will accept 2 T-quads. as i want to keep my flat hood, a tunnel ram is unfortunately out.

Last time I was actually reminded of how many, was when a judge or mayor or whatever it was, said, Mr. Bell, are you aware you have had 36 moving violations? I think my response was either 'that's it?' or 'I do now'. I've added to that over the years but overall I try to stay out of trouble. Oh...
I have used a single hole gasket.....and every time i gave it a shot of gas it whistled. I chocked it up to air moving between the carb and the manifold. Put the 4 hole gasket on and it dissappeared
Well, race car made 1066 rwgp on my dyno, so I'm back in good spirits. I need to get this out of the box and add wires to it, read instructions, and then decide where to mount it. Sounds like a great memorial day project. Tank needs to come out as well, so I can replace the seal/gasket for the...
