    727 starter ring gear needed

Does anybody know where I can get a replacement starter ring gear for a 10.75” 727 converter? Sonnax shows one, part number CH-RG-130, but can’t seem to find a provider for their parts. I don’t want to junk an expensive converter for a broken starter tooth.

    Gas Pedal

Looks like the square piece in the link below. You can make one if you have some white poly foam. Sometimes that stuff comes in certain packaged items. https://www.detroitmuscletechnologies.com/mopar-b-body-67-70-accelerator-gas-pedal-to-firewall-gasket/

2 quick questions before changing intake manifold gasket

While you are changing intake gasket/valley pan, cut appropriate size squares out of old pan to block off heat riser ports, before bolting intake down. This will reduce fuel percolating in your carb. Alternatively, you can buy a pan with these ports already blocked.

Just found a 70 F383HP block to start mine as well. What made you choose that kit? If you have a build plan I would like to follow it and see what other parts you choose. Ths is my first build.

    Argh dreaded coolant leak

Be sure it's not coming from the weep hole on the bottom of the water pump. Also, are the bolts sealed ?

When I bought my charger earlier this year from another city I hired lemon squad to look it over. They did a comprehensive inspection and report and I went through with the purchase. Pre-Purchase Car Inspection | Vehicle Inspection

    Whistling hissing air sucking

One of the carb corner bolts was too tight? I have had experience with putting a single hole gasket on an Edelbrock and my 67 GTX and it whistled quite a tune. A correct 4-hole gasket quieted it.

    Drag slicks

I know most like doing John Force burnouts. With my slicks or Drag Radials I just do burnouts long enough to make smoke. I have Caltracs with mono-leafs on 2 cars and on my blue car I just noticed that it is now leaning to the passenger side about a 1/2" lower. I think I have torqued the arch...
