Thanks to all for the tips. Glued it on this morning and sandwiched the vinyl area between the metal bracket and console screw hole area. Looks pretty good. Will see how it fits and looks once the floor carpeting gets done
Putting my console togeather for my 69 GTX. Carpet for sides is straight forward. But how does the rear console carpet get installed?? Any alignment tips? What is the purpose of the vinyl on the ends?
My GTX is a 1969. The 3 speed wiper motor is from a 1968. The arm is what was on the 3 speed when I got it. Im hoping it is the correct one for my application, but will not know until I get it installed. But from the looks of the internal park mechanism, I should be able to clock the home...

I am restoring my 1969 GTX and have a couple questions on the Console Performance Indicator.
Obviously the two wires are ground and power for the light bulb inside the Indicator. But is there a specific connection point that they tie into? Don't see this option on my wiring diagram, and cant...
