    Yes, supposedly the bee’s were police brakes. I confess that I’ve done many brake jobs in 70+yrs and I lay everything right under so they’re in same relationship. All makes/models, BUT,,,,, this was when all the parts houses Knew what was going on!! Now, it’s all on the buyer; sad, but true.

    But, is that 11” Bee brakes? My FSM shows only manual adjusters and that’s what I have.

    Somebody has changed something, ‘68 Bee’s had manual adjusters and the lower spring laid right over the star wheel adjuster. Your setup also needs another long spring to hold the shoes tight against ends of the adjuster.

    After a couple years, could definitely have some bacterial growth. If lift pump is working, definitely change the f.filters.

    What about adding a ‘cool can’ before the carb. Fill with ice while racing.

    Already have another’70 going together about 2miles away. That guy is very meticulous, 2car garage and the only car in there is his project.
