let me look at the 383 i have sitting here in storage,its out of a car.
im Not sure what kinda pulleys are on it,as it was a dealer installed ac in a monaco,but if they work for you pay the shipping.
most of these mopar guys,first thing they do is rip the 383 out out of their cars and spend a fortune building a 440.
you should be able to pick and choose a good 383 forged crank base motor for dirt cheap.

make sure nothings worn out or bent/pushrod?
if the rest checks out,its probably a rod bearing.
you can also do the old broomstick test.
grab one of those cheap dollar store plungers rip the plunger...
its even easier if you use the old torque converter/leave it bolted to the flex plate/and then use a Large Long breaker bar inserted into the vertor Slot/snout Sideways to move the crank back and forth.
to the Op,make sure the plugs are all out and cylinders have oil or tranny fluid in them to...

those are temp sensors,when they heat up they allow Vacuum to go from port to port.
you will need a factory manual or another untouched lincoln to see where they go to originally.
