So how was his band? I'd seen in the show he had a band but never caught any of their clips...
Erik Buell (Buell motorcycles) had a band as well (Erik Buell and the Thunderbolts)...as much of a friend as Erik is, though...
I dunno. I'm a tough critic, as a sound guy.
Mom bought her 70 charger new. I loved it from the start. Somewhere there's a pic of me - all of 3 years old - standing on the dutchmen panel, holding on to a roof buttress, making vroom-vroom noises. I'll have to ask her to see it at Thanksgiving when I visit this year....
My cousin totaled...
On the reflector refinishing...movie screens are a reflective white. White, but with some reflective/pearl bits in them, to aid the off-axis viewing. They make a "reflective" spray paint - no color, just the pearls. I've used it on driveway boulders - daylight, invisible. Headlight beams at...
I ordered some stuff for Michelle, and it got sent via some **** called "UniUni". WTF??
And of course...the didn't drop them off when I was out. I'm hoping the chatbot actually processed the "leave the package on the porch, cameras provide security" instructions....
Do NOT put LED "conversion bulbs" in an old school light assembly.
When you have a bulb, the light exits the bulb in a 360 degree field, and it bounces off the reflector in the light assembly. What you see from outside isn't the 3/4" light bulb...but the reflection of that bulb in the 20...
Thank you everyone! I tell ya...ever since they started beginning with a "5"...I kinda dread the day and don't "celebrate" anymore. But...it's nice to see the happy thoughts and messages!
No work today, but it's a crappy 63 and raining so I couldn't get anything done outside even if I wanted...
Maybe he should too...might get some traction with some more heat in the slicks! If I know him, he's already running around 15psi in them...can't go much lower than that, those fwd torque-steer monsters get REAL slimy at the big end with any less pressure... he'll get it figured out. He's got an...
A buddy of mine is doing drag week right now. 87 Shelby Charger GLHS (4 cylinder turbo, stick shift, front wheel drive). Said traction issues have had him running "only" 11.88 and 11.77 so far...
I miss having a fast car....
Cleaned residue off the freshly installed and grouted tile in the rental shower
Still have to do crown molding, and get one fitting for the tub spout.
Also trimmed in the walls around the doors I installed, and some other touch-up painting.
My '14 Grand Cherokee Summit came with factory HID projector beam headlights (D3S bulbs). After 110k miles...they were getting dim. The bulbs can build up a residue on the inside of the glass, from all the heat in the gasses inside the bulb. Think... smoke.
I put new HID bulbs in a couple weeks...
I've been thinking about a GoPro, mainly for shooting the concerts I mix, to put out some publicity videos (matched up with my multitrack recordings). But I have zero experience with them. Any tips or thoughts you could share?
Don't. The clippings need a smooth surface so they skate out and don't build up. Putting a liner inside will cause the clippings to build up and clog the discharge chute.
If anything, coat it regularly with Pam cooking spray.
