Good thing that radiator fans don’t double as propelling devices.
I looked… the fan in my 2007 Dodge truck is a 5 blade. I have seen Cummins and 5.2-5.9 trucks with huge fans with more than 8 blades. There must be some science behind that to warrant the design.
Most of my online time is with a “notebook”/laptop.
Old eyes of mine! The bigger screen means fewer mistakes!
Funny. I knew a guy that used to do that while commuting for construction. Wee hours of the morning and this guy would read while driving… with a pen light on his head aimed at the...
Sorry. I often overexplain things but this time I must have done the opposite.
I just brushed the paint on using a cheap Harbor Freight brush like this:
On another note….
At one of our monthly Mopar club meetings years ago, a guy stood up to ask the group if any of them have ever tried...
Are those housings still the factory silver paint inside?
I think that these types of bulbs....
Don't produce enough light, certainly not as much as an 1157. The aftermarket LED boards that fit into our housings must aim the bulbs straight toward the rear instead of in a 360 degree pattern...
I like the look but for me, they need to have a deeper dish, Front wheel drive type wheels with too much backspacing makes them look flat to me. The red Cooper has more dish but holy cow those are small diameter!
The concept that a 5 blade fan moves more air than a 7 blade makes no sense especially when you have seen fans on pickup trucks that appear to be fitted with 8 blades. A truck engine is used to tow and haul, two things that will overheat an engine if it isn't moving a lot of air.
That is terrible. You fix up a car you like and it gets damaged so quickly. Hopefully you can get it back together and looking right soon.
The following is NOT AN ATTACK on you in any way....
Maybe the other driver has grown accustomed to seeing the bright lights of late model cars and your...
Uhhh, just use a single filament bulb of the same wattage as the low filament on an 1157 and you accomplish the same thing without touching the wiring.
The "Pump it Down" article is great for showing enthusiasts how to reduce pressure in the Mopar power steering system.
It will not make up for worn or sloppy components.
