Agreed, but from what I'm gathering he wants what he wants, not what someone else cares about the value of some other car. I applaud him for that.
My point about the Charger is they are hard to find. No more, no less.
Nice one Bob.
And if the rear groove of the crank pulley matches well with the WP pulley.. then leave those alone and just adjust the alt and ps.
I'd prefer to have the proper single groove alt pulley myself,, but that can be made to work.
Rare and selling price are two different things. They are worth less than a 68 440 Charger R/T and they made lots more of those. But yea, worth more than a 64 SF 426-S street wedge. But less than a 67 GTX or Coronet R/T.
BY THE WAY, YOU HAVE THE COOLING FAN INSTALLED BACKWARDS. THE SCOOP PART OF THE BLADES FACES THE RADIATOR CORE. THE FAN WILL MOVE AT LEAST 2X THE AIR WHEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY. you will likely need to add a 1/16" shim to the pump hub and/or pull the alternator sheave 1/16" further on the...
I probably could've worded that post better. I meant that the ammeter would be non-functional. The voltmeter would be replacing it, and would be functional. :)
Why have the voltmeter if it is going to be non functional ? Like a oil pressure gauge that doesn't work.
Hook it up and take advantage of the information that it provides. All cars/trucks with gauges use a voltmeter today.

Don't. The clippings need a smooth surface so they skate out and don't build up. Putting a liner inside will cause the clippings to build up and clog the discharge chute.
If anything, coat it regularly with Pam cooking spray.
I welded a custom 3 link set up that we made under my buddy's 68 Camaro. We change out his heims about every 5 years, unless he has one seize up beforehand. He has never broken one.
I pulled an Avenger off my wagon. That turd just would not respond to jetting changes, would get fatter even though I went with smaller jets. Had the four hole idle screws, couldn't get it squared away. Found an old 3310-2 at the Van Nuys event last year. Went through it, works way better.
