dodtorcito - Don't worry about sourcing the correct color armrests. Find some in good shape in any color. A reputable auto body paint supply shop should be able to put together a rattle can of Citron Green for vinyl, along with the correct primer.
Step one, painted Black. Step two, dry brush with a dark Gray. This one will have three to four steps in painting. A lighter gray and brown. Light shades of green on the bottom at water level representing algae build up.

Yes that is what I did on a 63 4 door sedan. A hardtop may be easier to manipulate and may not need to remove the stops.
Are you using factory style with the clips ?
Grr.. just called vans.. they have sedan and convert but no hardtop.. 4th place.. Topcat isn't making anything right now as they lost their employees...
Did change whisker on my 66 Satellite. They were in rough shape, some broke when pulling on them. I had to "make my own whiskers by buying long C body whiskers and moving and sealing chips. This was in 1979 no whiskers available.
