Almost afraid to share another ammeter bypass question...

Careful with that Mopar Connection article, it promotes the parallel “shunt wire bypass” approach, just more misinformation about this charging system I’m afraid. Circuit protection for the entire vehicles unfused wiring and components is severely altered with that parallel wire run. Voltmeter...

yeah, like 5 jets in the emulsion tubes... seems a bit excessive though :)

I think it was ProMax that made a plate where you could actually put jets in.

    Loose Steering

Firm Feel and Steer and Gear do a decent job. The kicker is the quality of the core being used. Internal parts for the boxes were available from Mopar back in the day when new, but they never got used. Mopar only wanted the tech's to replace the entire box for warranty coverage. Therefore, the...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I've been thinking about a GoPro, mainly for shooting the concerts I mix, to put out some publicity videos (matched up with my multitrack recordings). But I have zero experience with them. Any tips or thoughts you could share?

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I left home last Wednesday for Moparty and got back last night, the lawn needed mowing bad. I got that done, the rest of the afternoon will be spent working on GoPro footage from the weekend…

    Bucket Seat Latch Question

Yea I wish it was a simple as a set screw but, there is no hole in the chrome latch handle for one to go through. I'm about ready to just wedge it on as you mention! Maybe use a wad of silicone to hold it.

    Power valve

Two carbs is bad enough to sort out an issue but three you really need to know your stuff.

I left mine as is with the existing plate in the back. There were versions that came with blocks, or you could add them. One thing the AFB's and brethren have over the Holley and its cousins. There are NO passages for junk to get stuck in, unlike Holley. If you get crud in a metering block, it's...

What's it Worth 65 Sport Fury 426 Max Wedge

Agreed, but from what I'm gathering he wants what he wants, not what someone else cares about the value of some other car. I applaud him for that. My point about the Charger is they are hard to find. No more, no less.

    Misaligned belts.

Nice one Bob. And if the rear groove of the crank pulley matches well with the WP pulley.. then leave those alone and just adjust the alt and ps. I'd prefer to have the proper single groove alt pulley myself,, but that can be made to work.
