Do these steering boxes need pitman arms seals? I changed my pitman arms about a month ago and there was no leak. Now it’s leaking and I’m wondering if there’s a seal there on these older boxes.
what psi do you run on the street? I have the first version 555R's out back 275/60/15 and run them at 28 psi on the street, then at the 1/4 mile track once every few years at
12-18 psi. I've been thinking of trying the 555r2's for a bit stiffer sidewall.
I bought a 68 repro back in 2018, looked good, I would buy another one, it ended up being a little narrower than the original gaps on the side where it hit the inside of the fenders, they were larger than the originals by about a 1/4 to 3/8" on each side, only guy that noticed was an assembly...
