Because the Chargers have been an iconic styling since the 68 re-style. The 68-70 Coronet/Road Runner is a great style car. The same era Charger is in a class of its own.
WOW I missed that one Dave or it would be in my garage...LOL. Yes, Clifton Central is very close to my little hometown. There is a really nice 68 GTX 440 4 gear roaming around there. I stopped the guy and told him about B bodies, but I have never seen him here.
My dash (65 Belvedere) had suede finish on top and standard gloss finish on the face. The dividing line was where the vertical face meets the top where it rolls over - about 1/8” above the glove box.
When I refinished it, I bought KolorKorrect suede and gloss, in rattle can. IIRC the rattle...

The first set I got from MegaParts - the strap to go around the 4 leaves was a tad short (pic). Then I searched this forum and discovered Landing - Roger Gibson
I ended up emailing and calling Frank - he sells them based on the number of leaves they wrap around...
The main reason why I wasn't much of a fan. My favs of his screen acting were Butch and Sundance, Jeremiah Johnson, and of course, The Natural. Politically, he was a jerk...JMHO. A good run though...RIP Sundance...cr8crshr/Bill:praying::praying::praying::usflag::usflag::usflag:
Back at it, more fun stuff . . . cleaning parts. Step 1 - clean off oil, grease & dirt. Step 2 - remove old paint with paint remover. Step 3 - soak parts in my vinnegar, lemon juice & salt soup.
