Here is a really clean thermoquad I just took off of a running engine. Looks almost like a new carb but I have no idea. I didn’t see any numbers stamped on the carb base where they are normally located. $200 plus shipping.
Pat Travers Band was a force back when I saw them in the summer of '80 - the Crash and Burn tour when Pat Thrall was with them. They opened for Foghat in Green Bay.
I saw them again in the spring of '81 in Milwaukee. They headlined that time with Krokus and Rainbow being the opening acts...
Are these the correct paint colors for the following components?

Large Hood Coil Spring - Semi-Gloss Black

HI,
OK I bought it used so I'm not sure if it had one or not.. I've owned it for almost 10 years got almost 50T on the rebuild, it just had a bad timing gear (plastic factory junk) but I rebuilt it anyway.. It only has 92,000 on the meter.. When I rebuilt there was NO junk or goop in the heads...
It's not always about Chevy motors in a Mopar, I never liked it when someone had a Chevy motor in a Ford whether it was a street rod or not. I call it crossbreeding. Maybe bastardsizing.
If I could figure out a use for it I would buy this one...
[FOR SALE] - Accel Dual Point Tack Drive HP Distributor for B engine
But since I don't have a use for it I will recommend it to you...
Do what you want to. It is your car, and for most people in this country, this is still America (unless you live in the People's Republic of California).
But, don't expect a single thinking person on this forum to believe that you didn't post this rubbish here because you "don't care what...
I would recommend Keith Long (727 Specialist) His transmission is behind the 512 in my wife’s Runner (640 lbft). Reverse manual billet and so forth. Works wonderfully! By the way, I suppose you wouldn’t consider him local but you’re a lot closer to him than I am…
Yes the three wires need to be connected... Well, two... One goes to switched power (IE the original blue wire to the alternator) One goes to a 12v reference point, (isolated wire from the battery) the third wire is for an idiot light...
So i guess the ground you added worked for you?
Just had the exact same issue when installing one of the aftermarket tach's. Mine was caused by the factory AM radio. I tried everything and when i pulled the radio out VOILA! tach needle dropped and works great! Hope i dont have the same problem...
Street driven for 15yrs, low 10's on pump gas, the 440 was to see how a Hemi would fit and found had too much fun with this setup. Said fenderwell clearance was more than a B-body.
When you eat crow, how do you like it, well done or medium rare?
This is a set of Crower Inner Valve Springs. They came with a
Crower Kit I bought for my 426 Hemi many years ago, but I didn't
use them when I installed it. They are about 1.90" height x 0.96"
diameter and were for a .500 to .610 lift cam. $30.00. Local pickup,
or buyer pays shipping.
Check the feed wire that it didn't get compromised where it passes through the distributor housing or at the connection to the pick-up, that is, it's not turned so that it's grounding on the mounting plate.
