Are you are taking about the pattern on the valve being towards the exhaust side? If so either the rocker is too long (likely) or the pedestal where the shaft is mounted isn’t spot on for the lift at the valve. or are you talking pushrod clearance in the head That may need clearancing which is...
the current (2025) Billy-Beer Clinton looks pretty different and much older than he did during his presidency. I think he should stay away from being photographed at this phase of his life. Poor (fellatio-is-not-sex) guy.
A friend of mine had part of a barn fall on the roof his 1969 Fargo truck that he had insured with Hagerty. After much haggling, the insurance company totalled his truck, and cut him a cheque for the agreed value, plus he kept the vehicle. He was going to fix it himself, but someone bought it...
Seems to me that this thread mainly pertains to maximum hp.
Not to mention someone that enjoys a fairly stock car and would like to drive it possibly over 1000 miles or more to a Mopar get together.
I quit showing off on the street ages ago. When I get the car together and (if someone pulls up...
For sure. Haven’t had much luck this year. Many very good runs with not much to show. What comes around goes around. If the car keeps running how it has been and my side keeps up. hen it’s only a mater of time before notching another win.

Either is fine, the longer bolt might help getting things lined up, but since you had no issue getting the shorter bolts started I'd stick with them...
The rule is a 3/8" bolt needs 3/8" of thread engagement... It should have that and more...
Exactly what you don't want to hear from a gal.
But to answer your question, not yet. Need to get the old one and pump out tomorrow before I drop out the K and put my 70 unit in. From there, reassembly time. Hope to get it to the alignment shop next week.
It's easy to miss. I don't remember taking it out when I tore the engine down. Maybe the machine shop took it out. I hope you didn't do too much damage with the lost oil pressure. :praying:
Also, how long are the fuel pump bolts supposed to be? The Edelbrock bolts that came with it are about 1.4" long and the ones that I took out are about 1" long. I went ahead and reused the ones that I took out because I was worried that the other ones might go in too deep. I could definitely...
I did get the block hot tanked so they pulled all the plugs. I'm going with new aluminum 'stealth' heads from 440 Source. Plus a .488/.491 cam from Comp Cams. Topped off with a Edelbrock intake and 750 cfm carb. I thinking 400+ hp!
Your choice... It's functional.. It doesn't leak.. It will work... But if your gonna stress out over the potential for a problem you should probably get the right parts to fix it...
Then again the new "right" parts will probably come from China so are they really any better than the Rube...
