    Big Block Valve Cover ID

Appear to be 67 valve covers, but it's a early build date so they're possibly original.

You don't turn in your plates in Alabama, but they damn sure charge back taxes. Vintage plates are exempt from taxes and you don't have to renew them.

Question for body guys about lead or not

I would try a product that's called "All Metal". It's a metal based filler. Hopefully the name hasn't changed since I last used it.

Time to start putting it back together.... '67 Coronet

A 396 GM engine was troublesome in the early years due to valve train issues. My first new car was a 67 Satellite 383 4-speed 3:23 sure grip. My best friends car was a 66 Chevelle 396 325 hp, 4-speed with whatever Chevy had for a standard rearend ratio, I believe 3:31 or something which was a...

    VIN Swap 66 Coronet?

My 67 Satellite that I'm currently restoring, the SO# is on the core support and the rear cross member just to the left of the left rear bumper bracket. They should match the order # on the IBM card.

    VIN Swap 66 Coronet?

Incorrect screws on the Vin tag, they should be rosette rivets. Yes possible Vin swap from another car. Do you have the fender tag and the build sheet? Does your car match everything else on the IBM card?

    How many straps?

Pict Picture please. I assure you that the one strap is sufficient. Just be sure the tank pad between the top of the tank and the bottom of the car is in place or you will have rattles and squeaks you can't get rid of.

If the hole on the right rear quarter is perfectly round, it's not a factory hole. The holes on the right front fenders were perfectly round with two notches 180 degrees apart so that the antenna assembly could be fed down from the top for installation. The antenna on the rear quarter can be fed...

All the AM radios for 67 that I have ever seen were MDL# 230 AM 2 watt, Plymouth and I believe MDL# 232 AM 2 watt Dodge. I'm not saying you are wrong, but just what I have seen.

The only thing I have ever seen under the R on a 67 fender tag is 1, 2, or nothing. 1= AM 2= AM/FM, nothing = radio delete.

    How many straps?

66-67 one strap 68-70 two straps. 66-67 strap left to right, 68-70 front to rear.

Football is sort of sacred in the south. In Alabama you have to declare Alabama or Auburn when you enter peewee Football. Low and behold to the cable company that has an outage during either of those games.

Personally I would like to see the hole in the rear quarter for the antenna. That would tell me a lot about where the antenna was installed. My understanding from hearsay is that the antenna was shipped from the factory to be installed by the dealership in predelivery. I have never had a 67 B...

Legendary is the best interior. I used Don's Custom Exhaust, until the old man died. Now I don't know if the quality is the same, but it's an option.
