I agree. My '62 looks better with the hood closed but someone will always ask to see what's in it.
I've asked to see under the hood at shows before and when I did, I seen why the owner didn't want anyone to see it!
I am looking for a pair of headlight splash shields for a 66 or 67 Dodge charger and I believe the 66 and 67 Dodge coronet are the same. I prefer to pick them up if possible I am located in Michigan.
I left the chrome off my 71 charger for years after I painted it. Couple summers ago I put it back on thinking I was gonna sell it. Looks waaaaayyyy better with it on IMO. Gives some contrast to the body lines.

I spent the last few hours playing with the power steering pump and alternator pulleys. I was adviced to turn my fan around and I put some spacers between the pump and the bracket which moved the pump back, I think just enough. After turning the fan around, somehow the alternator pulley lined up...
