    Cut drip rails off

The only reason they are there in the first place was to make it easy to weld the roof panel on during assembly. They serve no useful purpose with curved side glass. Water will still get in if your windows are open more than an inch or two. I was surprised how much of a difference in wind noise...

    Cut drip rails off

Eliminating them along with a few other things may improve the aero enough to cut down on wind noise that we get with these cars. Stuff like wiper arms out there catching and disturbing the air, side view mirrors, rain gutters, wheels and tires recessed in the fenders instead of sitting out...

Classic Cars and Cell Phones Don't Mix Well

A fellow here, swerved to avoid some 4x4’s that had fallen off a vehicle at some railway tracks and rolled his 66 Coronet. Some appraiser on behalf of Haggerty, said fix it. He didn’t have any problems. I supplied some parts for it. Was told to add my time in with the price.

    Front sump pan,440

Hello guys...I think first post. I posted on sweptline.org, but because a 440 thought I would try here. You folks have forgot more than this 77 yr. old guy ever knew. Oil pan capacity/dipstick is the big questions. New to me, 68 Dodge D100 short box stepside, with 440 now. Seller told me...

    440 Oil Passage Question

Yes the heads have oil passages front and back, but the back one is the only one used. So the front one plugs up. Then you put the head on wrong side and Bam! No oil to rockers. It happens to me once, and once was too much.

Serpentine belts on a BB Mopar

Bringing this old thread back up, which clutch are you running? I have a 7 blade reproduction fan with the low profile clutch, and the blades hit the pulleys before the flange even contacts the water pump pulley.

What did you do to your Mopar today?

Strapped up all the fuel lines today after lunch. Fuel system is complete now, ready for test and leak checks. I also put my gravel guard on the 3/8 CUNI hard lines running under the chassis. Like I told the fellas on the 1st Gen site, I used a 1" Electrical Shrink Tubing for that... the Heavy...
