70 plymouth B Body passenger front fender. It has had a poorly done repair on the wheel opening roughly at the 1 o'clock position. Its not perfect but not rusted junk either. $500.00. Can deliver to the moparty with 50% deposit.

It took about a half gallon to touch the bottom of the float and cover the end of the sock. Fuel is right at the pickup tube. Once I get the tank in the car I'll see how much more to move the gage off empty. Should be tomorrow evening.

Ill update tomorrow with the amount of fuel it takes to reach the float.

This is a stock image of the one i installed. 1/2 tube 1/4 return. Tweaked in a vice until it touched the bottom of the tank as shown in previous post.

Here's a pic with the sender installed in the tank. The bend in the sock is where it touches the bottom of the tank. This unit has a 1/2 pickup tube. From the pick im guessing about 1/2 to 3/4 between the bottom of the tank and the bottom of the float.

I still have everything apart. So if anyone wants pics, measurements or meter readings. Let me know.

What specs are you referring to and is this an original sending unit or after market. Mine is aftermartket. I have the tank and sending unit out of the car. The pickup tube was an inch off the bottom of the tank. The gage always seemed to read 3/4. I adjusted the suction tube to rest on the...

There should be some clips like this in the channel of that trim. It will push up against the headliner on each side.
