    Door Gaps

Top hinge needs to come out a bit and the bottom needs to go in. Front and back. Adjust the door to the striker jamb and rocker first, then adjust the fender to the door.

Random 68 to 70 picture thread

Forgotten and abandoned for close to 40 years now. Very sad that the owner wants nothing to do with it, but won’t let someone else save it either. At least it’s inside.

There’s a short filter available, I forget the number tho. O’Reillys sells Wix filters, they can look up the number for the short filter.

Rear window inside headliner teeth cover

We just installed those repop ones, if it wasn’t for that large inside corner that they give you, there’s no hope. It’s hard to work with, won’t stay in place, it’s too stiff, and it only comes in black when we needed tan. Seems like the OE stuff was more pliable, although it got brittle with time.

What was your favorite toy car?

When my Dad bought his 70 Rpadrunner, with it came a Shutdown game which he gave to us. It was the Plymouth version as that was what he bought, although I know they also had a Dodge version. We loved that game, we loved drag racing, and played with that game for hours. Nothing like shifting...

Who Has Lived This? Pretty Sure Most Of Us On Here Have A Story That Involves This Stuff.

Ok, my story…. Playing at our annual pig roast with my band back then, I stashed a pint of Everclear in the mic box for later. Came back to get something out of the box and noticed it was almost completely gone. I thought the top had come off, but no wetness in the box. Then unnoticed the...

Share a driving tip you use.

Exactly why I recommend using neutral. It stops the motion of the wheels and allows you unfettered control in the snow, on the ice, and especially in corners and at intersections. Leaving the vehicle in drive and putting on the brakes produces a lockup and skid, whereas being in neutral results...

    Denver Steak

It’s not new, I’ve been joking about “Denver” steaks for years, and “Ranch” steaks as well. Sometimes I call them Denver Ranch steaks. It is not a good cut as you’ve found out, it isn’t even a proper name. As you know, a ribeye is aptly named because it comes from the rib area of the cow, it is...

    Slips out of 1st

Once under load it doesn’t pop out? Sounds like my car, mine started when I put a new boot on, which is much stiffer than the old ripped up one, now there is pressure on the shifter when not under load and the boot pulls the shifter out of first. Not saying that’s the problem you’re having, but...

I'm almost at wits end with this car.

I gotta tell you, I bought a 413, new build, tunnel ram, dual quad engine on a stand at an auction for $650. That’s something you’d like to know more about the internals instead of opening it up. It came with a 3 ring binder full of all the information about the engine. The guy had things in the...

I'm almost at wits end with this car.

Make a list, divide it into sections, then prioritize each thing in the sections as to what it will do to get the car running, if that’s your goal. If you need to buy parts for a particular assembly that is the priority for that section, make it a priority to find and purchase those parts, or...
