Ordered the 2 1/8” stepped headers and 3” exhaust from TTI and I’m dropping off the exhaust to get it ceramic coated at LoKo Monday, I also picked up a CVF Wraptor and Classic industries AC system as well. Should be a busy winter.
Wow, time has really gotten away from me lol. Anyway I had John Cope put my Trans together, and had Opel Engineering freshen up the short block. My friend Lee is assembling the engine for me.
The only reason they are there in the first place was to make it easy to weld the roof panel on during assembly. They serve no useful purpose with curved side glass. Water will still get in if your windows are open more than an inch or two. I was surprised how much of a difference in wind noise...
Bringing this old thread back up, which clutch are you running? I have a 7 blade reproduction fan with the low profile clutch, and the blades hit the pulleys before the flange even contacts the water pump pulley.
Actually he did create something new, it’s a new modular HD SFI approved case and bell housing that will work behind an A block, B block, or Cummins. The cut and welded case is not SFI approved.
Awesome, thanks. I wasn’t sure the low profile clutch would offer enough clearance between the fan blades and the belt as the water pump pulley is flat and not offset
Looking for some detailed engine photos of a 67 R/T or GTX 440 with factory air. I had a mishap and lost all my photos from the disassembly stage of my motor and life got in the way, 18 months later I’m getting ready to reassemble the engine and could use a guide
