Lately I've had a weird sudden loss of power. Car starts with no issues. Then about 15 mins later it just dies, so l restart with no issues after that. Happened yesterday while out on a drive so pulled off the road and restarted. With the car running, l've played with the battery cables...

We got a decent amount of rain bout 1.5", lost power but the generator kicked on for about an hr until power was restored.

As my car has a non bendex booster but I'm pulling the correct vacuum with the help of a vacuum pump due to the purple cam, if I changed the booster to a bendex would l see any improvement in breaking?

Glad you got it all sorted out Ed, and Fred is back in working order!

There's a screw in the back that holds the radio in place, you have to access it from under the dash. Follow the antenna wire and you'll see it.

Hopefully it's an easy fix so Fred can be out and about in no time.

I've done mine myself for years but the cracks have gotten worse so this year l had it done with a professional with the rubber crack filler, came out great!
