As I continue to look to make our '67 Belvedere a little more reliable and give it a touch more grunt I am planning to replace the stock 2 barrel carb and intake on the 318.
I am going with an Edelbrock - 1406 carb on a Performer Intake Manifold - 2176 based on the huge number of comments on...
Me too on the GN’s. I kept talking myself out of buying one back when they were decent priced. What I like about this TA over the GN is no digital dash, way better suspension, not speed limited, and looks good.
Hagarty is valuing a #2 at $53k and a #1 at $75k. I got this for way less than...

Hi. The metal (?) spokes on my original Tuff wheel are dull. Any suggestions on what to use to make them bright again? Pic in the thread is when I bought the car; things aren't as shiny now. A neighbor suggested Never Dull (wadding) cleaner. If not that, any other suggestions?
And what kind of...
Whenever anybody runs into a bad day working on their own car, and something goes wrong... fret not. When that happens working on a customer's car... that's when you sweat. Ah, yes, the good (most of the time) old days .......
You sound like a sorehead. There will be opinions that don't meet yours.
He gives the beginning of his VIN so everyone knows what he is driving with seven digits instead of a sentence. Many people don't say what they are working on when asking for help, ans we have to pry the info out 5 posts...
but the one have on there now did better than the dual snorkel which is the recessed round 3". So I will just put my dual snorkel up for sale in case any one wants that. Thanks!
