    Power valve

I took the center carb off yesterday and blew air through all passages, all seemed to be good. Went down 2 more jet sizes on same, checked T-slot, took fuel filter off and installed a fuel pressure for testing fuel pressure again, new spark plugs. Going into town today, 2 barrel drive only...

    PDX GTX

Another welcome from the Motor City. I love the color of your car, and I’m glad you are enjoying it. I too would say that despite any pedigree a car has, they should be driven and enjoyed. Here is a pic of my old 67 GTX, I owned this car for 25 years, and I routinely beat the crap out of it...

Cleaning Metal Spokes on Tuff Wheel

Hi. The metal (?) spokes on my original Tuff wheel are dull. Any suggestions on what to use to make them bright again? Pic in the thread is when I bought the car; things aren't as shiny now. A neighbor suggested Never Dull (wadding) cleaner. If not that, any other suggestions? And what kind of...

    Can this get worse ?

Whenever anybody runs into a bad day working on their own car, and something goes wrong... fret not. When that happens working on a customer's car... that's when you sweat. Ah, yes, the good (most of the time) old days .......

    I Had To Get It

Nice score. I briefly considered one of those in 1989, but ended up buying a new Bonneville SSE in the name of practicality as a work vehicle. That 3.8 V6 was a sound platform. I drove that car 150,000 miles in three years with no issues. Sold it to my boss for $2500, and he drove it another...

Very, very nice. I like these so much better than the prior gen F-body, and the 3.8 is an awesome engine.

Nice turbo T/A. I have always liked those along with Buick GN's. I have looked at and almost bought 3 GN's over the years, but always talked myself out of it each time.

Tools that you don't use very often and didn't use them a whole lot to begin with....and had to 'relearn' it....

I concur with the "battery" issue! It seems that every time I get the digital caliper out, the GD display is flashing. I keep a few packs of 357 batteries in the drawer. I use the digital caliper when measuring something set up on a machine and cannot read the manual dial with my shitty eyes...
