Float is good. I checked that out. Ground is good at tank and at dash gauge. Temp gauge works. If I ground the wire at the tank gauge goes to full quickly.

I’m following you on the seat track issues. I have tried several different combinations on my aftermarket seats and still can’t seem to get them sitting right and/or securely mounted. I have made some crude adapters and tried a few different seat tracks, but they work loose and the seat rocks...

Mine did too! Usually when cranking the engine over after the car has been sitting for a while you hear 1 knock per revolution coming from the fuel pump area until the car starts. It got a little quieter with the new pump but its still there a little.

So the 69 has the same hidden reverse as the 68s... how does reverse look?
