    I Had To Get It

1,155 made, 1 convertible was made by PAS, and iirc 1 in black, may have been maroon. Door/windshield decals came in the black TTA kit box, along with a Keychain, not the one in the video, a cassette tape, and ppwk. Could also get decal kit in a GM cardboard box with the blue GM print. Most...

how to install an after market Oil/ Temp gauge in my 67 GTX

I was asking about factory gauges because you will need different sending units for your after market gauges. You more than likely won’t be able to hook both your factory gauge and aftermarket gauge to the same sending unit. I just went through this rodeo with my 74 RR and the oil sending...

Classic Cars and Cell Phones Don't Mix Well

Great idea. Before cell phones and answering machines, call display, people would walk out of the house and not have a clue if someone called. Believe it or not, we lived! I am fortunate to be married to one person. I am NOT married to the phone. Even though I carry it with me when I am alone...

    Any Pinball Fans Out There?

Back when the GTX was new, I played at the Penn State student union center, in addition to the ping pong tables. I got really good at the Gottlieb bank a ball machine, and would to play it for free, until some college jerk would put his nickels on the glass, and tell me to scram before he beat...

Tools that you don't use very often and didn't use them a whole lot to begin with....and had to 'relearn' it....

Nothing wrong with a woman willing to steal the glory and finish the job!!!

Shall we make the Newsboy cap great again?

Here's my take on ballcaps-worn-backwards: If you're doing this and you're over the age of, say, 30...you're trying too hard to appear young and cool. It's not a good look for a mature man.

This time, I cut better than 3/4 of the lawn and I took a break to cool off and she jumped in to finish and stole the glory of finishing from me.

    Carb for a street/strip stroked 440

Manual brakes, about 11-12 inches vacuum. I could only find the Chevy xs290s for some reason, I've had my cam for about 8 years and it runs well with occasional valve adjustments. I would recommend for a streetable stroker.motor.

    71 Charger Superbee Tribute/Restomod Build

Those original tracks are missed and I recently purchased a contour gauge and am working on making some kind of pattern to match the floor irregularities and find a way to make a level platform to anchor the tracks and seat on. Not sure how this will go.

Did I find treasure in my shed?

Many years ago, I had my Charger's VIN memorized. I don't know why, and I can't even remember my wife's cell #...but I know my VIN.

Did I find treasure in my shed?

I sometimes memorize the VINs of the cars I have, not because they are valuable though. Numbers are sometimes easy for me. I remember addresses, phone numbers, bank accounts, measurements of buildings that I framed years ago, all sorts of useless stuff!

    Headed to Drag Week

Good luck Go rounds & miles  have fun IMHFO Don't get drag radials too hot, in the burn out, or any soft/er compounds on a bias slick either roll thru the water, start outside the water box, then get them just to barely smoke, a static burnout is better (but do what you have to) spin...

    71 Charger Superbee Tribute/Restomod Build

Ah ok so you are trying to use some aftermarket tracks? I have been down this road couple of times and the only way I have ever got them to work is to mock the seats up in the car without the carpet in which means using wood or even some metal to get the seats to the height you want and level...
