Not the hanger, I'm seeking the sheet metal that the hanger bolts to, both L & right sides, it likely has to be cut out, of a parted car, I am mainly interested in the metal that goes left to right, you can include whatever spot welded parts of the rear frame rail and the rocker panels you...
If you had an aftermarket bottom-feeder pickup, I'd be worried. With a stock pickup, I think you're fine. Keep an eye on oil pressure (hope you have a mechanical gauge, electric is too slow/insensitive.)
Fix it at your leisure .
Well the fun never stops... I thought I was done with the seats FINALLY... but oh no, not so fast. When after installing the passenger side I went to try it out and lo and behold, it would not adjust, or adjust very much. So out comes and I try and figure out what is happening. I made a few...

Thank you guys. I'm pretty sure between BD and Dave, I'll be able to manage. It is a new M &H and I do also have the classic wiring color schematic to use. Good thing they are matching color coded on the new harness. I'm gonna hang the dash assembly on the bolts tomorrow.and start connecting...
It is not a big deal, run it. I've bought many used cars like that. Yes watch the pressure fans but it won't do anything bad.
Note: do not start pounding on the oil pan with a screwdriver through the dipstick hole.
Almost the dumbest idea this year.
