When I was an apprentice we used to fit rebuild kits to water pumps. I remember a hydraulic press, a few flat plates and some various size pushing bushes was all that was need. You do need to be careful of the mechanical seal. Perhaps there are some videos on You Tube of the process????? Older...

The silver shocks are supposed to be 50/50, not digressive, not progressive but equal damping in extension and compression.

Trying to assist restoring a 69 dodge charger with 318 engine. Put original water pump (driver's side inlet) back on and can't figure out which brackets ( 6 in the box ) are used to hold the power steering pump. Will post pics of car and what I have this evening after work.

Bigger is always better if you have the space. I use mine to compress the springs in clutch packs when working on transmissions.
