    Look down. The inside of it from the steering wheel side. I think there are 5 5/16” hex screws holding it to the shaft housing.

    Most have given good advise, by checking engine and transmission mounts. With car in park have you gotten underneath it and tried turning the driven shaft to see if any play from rear end or transmission end .also look at the u joints. If all looks good, check all suspension for something coming...

    I figured out how to take the inner sleeve out, so now I can clean and paint it. But what about taking off this collar? It’s got allot of damage and wouldn’t mind trying to find another.
