Can I use the column shift lower bearing and the retainer for my console shift steering column? It looks like the only difference is the column shift is held in with two screws and the console shift has no screws holding it.

If the heads end up under 70, you could add a little thickness to the gasket to mitigate that some. A .060” gasket is 2.2cc bigger than a .051”.

Okay put the adjustable end back on where it was. That shifter box is not original the levers have really big holes.
