...the gap in there and some actual rust on the plug tip and wire terminal. It was hell separating boot from wire as well - wonder if even using the 45* boot didn't give adequate clearance from the header? The terminal is not salvageable, so... Point of curiosity #2: Anybody got a nice long...

Got the spindles on. Tie rod assemblies on. All of the castle nuts got their cotter pins. I tightened up the lower control arm shafts, then backed them off a bit. Need to back off the uppers, do that tomorrow. Caliper mounts on with loctite. Greased up all the new joints. Got the plumbing done...

You didn’t mention that the engine has mo vacuum advance. You don’t want to change the cam I can understand that. But you might be able to tune up some street manors with a vacuum advance hooked to a manifold source. Ask around I’ll bet money there’s somebody nearby that can tune that Holley up...
